A total of 898 candidates who passed in the 34th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination have been recommended for recruitment as headmasters in government primary schools by Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC).
PSC made the recommendations along with the registration numbers of the selected candidates on Wednesday.
Due to shortage of vacancies in 34th BCS, those who could not
secure any cadre and non-cadre first class positions were recommended to be recruited as headmasters in government primary schools in non-cadre second class positions, according to the PSC.
This is the highest number of candidates recommended for recruitment as government primary school headmasters by PSC so far.
