Speakers at a discussion said all the government and non-government organisations should work together for providing necessary information of reproductive health to the adolescents for their healthy life.
They mentioned that proper knowledge and education on reproductive health could help adolescents boost their level of confidence in carrying out safe life.
They came up with the observation at the closing session of a Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Family Planning Fair-2018 held recently in Rajshahi. Department of Family Planning (DFP) and District Administration jointly organized the fair at Green Plaza of Rajshahi City Corporation for reaching the message of planned family to the public in general. Local unit Awami League leaders Shahin Akhter Rainy and Dablu Sarker addressed the session as guest speakers with DFP Divisional Director Moloy Kumar Roy in the chair.
In her welcome speech, Deputy Director of DFP Dr Nasim Akhter gave an overview of the district level family planning activities and achievements so far, highlighting the aims of the fair.
The guests also distributed prizes among the winners of different competitions arranged for the students on family planning issues.
