As part of the central program, the Jamalpur district Swechchhasebak Dal has staged a protest rally in Jamalpur to protest against the price hike.
A protest was held in front of the BNP party office on Wednesday afternoon. Acting President of District Swechchhasebak Dal Md. Nurul Momen Akand Kawshar spoke in the presidency.
At this time, the speakers painted a picture of the plight of the common man as a result of rising prices of daily necessities including rice, pulses, oil and sugar. If the government does not control the price of goods, people may die of starvation and malnutrition. They demanded the resignation of the government for failing to curb inflation.
