Proteek Kundu has been appointed as the new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Augere Wireless Broadband Bangladesh Limited (AWBBL) which is running operation under the brand name QUBEE.
Kundu comes with 22 years of professional experience behind him, 14 years of which has been in the telecom sector, said a AWBBL press release on Monday.
Prior to joining AWBBL, he has worked with leading telecom players in India and in the last 9 years with Vodafone Mobile Services Ltd.
Kundu will be responsible to B2B and B2C levels.
He has completed his PGDMM (Operations Management) from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai and Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (Regional Engineering College), Bhopal.
AWBBL is engaged in the business of providing wireless broadband access and related services in Bangladesh since 2009 under the name and style of QUBEE and Augere after obtaining license from the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).
The company has a vast experience of serving some of the biggest names in the world of telecoms, ISPs, Banks, FMCGs, Media Houses and SMEs.
