Information Secretary Kamrun Nahar urged all public relations officers concerned to remain active for publication of ‘Mujib Borsha’ programmes in all print, electronic and social media with utmost importance.
“Different ministries have undertaken various programmes and activities on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman this year,” she said this on Tuesday while speaking as the chief guest at a view exchange meeting on Publicity Strategy of the Government’s Development Activities and Integrity Award 2018-2019 distribution ceremony at the Press Information Department (PID) conference room in the city. Kamrun Nahar said PID is working as a mouthpiece of the government and innovation activities of this organization is very much important at present. She assured the PID of providing all-out support and cooperation for creation of posts, its modernization and making it people-oriented.
The secretary handed over certificates and cash to nine officers as part of Integrity Award 2018-2019.
Principal Information Officer (PIO) Surath Kumar Sarker presided over the programme.
Among others, PROs from different ministries, regional information officers and PID officials attended the programme. Later, the Information Secretary visited the ‘Bangabandhu Corner’ at PID.
