Proper evolution of youth underscored

Speakers at a webinar on Saturday suggested that parents should engage their children in different types of innovative and creative activities in family to prepare themselves for future nation builders.
They (parents) also should give their children ethical and social lessons for mental evolution to prepare them a good human being in society, they said.
Dhaka School of Economics (DScE) organized the e-seminar titled “Creativity and Youth on Socio-Economic Perspective of Bangladesh”, said a press release.
Speaking on the occasion as chief guest, Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) Chairman Dr Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad said youth are the vehicle of economic development and that is why the government should pay concentration on their appropriate evolution removing all socio-cultural barriers.
He said the government during this pandemic (Covid-19) has prepared rules, strategies and agendas for youth’s wellbeing and implementing these programmes through both government and non-government agencies.
Session Chair Professor Dr Muhammad Mahboob Ali said youth are the future leaders and they should be within the framework of the development process such as creativity, online business procedure, singing, recitation, gardening and other creative hobbies.
He also suggested the parents to keep the future resources away from any sort of torture, violence, drug addiction etc. at any cost.
DScE’s assistant professors Rehana Parvin and Sara Tasneem, among others, also spoke.
Three papers were presented by Farhana Hussain, Humayara Tabassum and Mahmudul Islam, DScE’s students of Master of Entrepreneurship Economics and Bachelor of Entrepreneurial Economics.
