Project taken for dev of Railway Workshop: Mujibul

Railway Minister Mujibul Haq visited Saidpur Railway Workshop with members of the Parliamentary Standing Committee of the Ministry of Railway on Thursday .
Thhe Minister was accompanied by the members of the Parliamentary Standing Committee of the Ministry of Railway.
The Minister in his speech said, Railway was totally neglected during the period of last government. The present government has paid special attention to the Railway. Project of 20 years term has been adopted for its development and due to this it will be possible to serve the people of every district.
The people will get 100 per cent service and benefit of Railway. Every district will be taken under the network of Railway double line will be introduced soon.
Regarding the crisis of manpower in the workshop the Minister said, already eight thousand workers have been appointed and within two years and every post will be filled and workers in every post will be appointed.
The inspection team observed the production activities of the carriage and wagon shop. The inspection team is guided by the President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee of Railway Ministry A B M Fozle Karim Chowdhury.
Among the members, Md. Moslem Uddin, Khalid Mahmood Chowwdhury, Md. Ali Asgar, Md.Sirajul Islam Molla, Md. Noman, Md. Yasin, M P of Nilphamari 4 Alhaj Md. ShawkatChowdhury, other high officials , local Awami League leaders, trade union leaders were present. The total inspection was presented by the Divisional Superintendent Noor Ahmmed Hossain.
It is mentionable that Saidpur Railway Workshop was established in the year 1870 by the British colonial regime. This is the largest workshop in Bangladesh with the area of about 110 acres of land.
