Professional training always enhance capacities to turn every citizen into human resource to achieve success in personal life as well as contribute to the national development.
The opinion came yesterday at the concluding ceremony of a 35-day technical training course for Ansar-VDP members on ‘Repairing and maintenance of mobile phone sets’ at Mahiganj Regional Vocational Training Centre in Rangpur.
The course was arranged for minimum SSC passed Ansar-VDP members of the 18-35 year age group under its Training Programme to turn them into skilled workforce for achieving self-reliance through income generation activities.
Twenty-four male Ansar-VDP platoon members from Rangpur, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Panchagarh, Naogaon and Chapainawabganj districts participated in the course to enhance their skills on mobile phone repairing and maintenance.
District Commandant of Ansar-VDP and Camp Commander Abdus Samad attended the ceremony as the chief guest with Sadar Upazila Ansar-VDP Officer Golzar Hossain in the chair.
Abdus Samad called upon the Ansar-VDP members to properly utilize the skills they acquired from the course to improve their personal economic condition through income generation activities.
He also called upon the Ansar-VDP members for ensuring congenial atmosphere to further accelerate rural uplift along with curbing crimes and social curses in building a middle income nation by 2021, and subsequently a developed country by 2041.
