Prof Md Selim Bhuiyan has been re-appointed as Treasurer of Jagannath University University for the next four years.
Md Selim is a Professor of Management Department of Dhaka University. President and Chancellor of the university Abdul Hamid re-assigned Selim on Wednesday night, said a university press release on Thursday.
As per JnU Ordinance 2005, 12 (1) act and amendment act 2009 (phase 2) the treasurer is re-appointed by the government.
However, he was appointed as JnU treasurer in 2011.
