Prof. Dr. Nurnabi has joined as new Chairman of the Department of Applied Chemistry & Chemical Engineering (ACCE) of Dhaka University on Tuesday.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Akhtaruzzaman gave him this appointment for a period of three years.
Prof. Dr. Nurnabi stood 1st Class 1st both in BSc (Hons) and MSc Exams from the Department of Applied Chemistry & Chemical Engineering of the University of Dhaka in 1992 and 1993 respectively. He obtained PhD degree from the University of Leeds, UK.
He achieved highly prestigious Commonwealth Postdoctoral Fellowship from Nottingham University, UK in 2013.
Prof. Dr. Nurnabi joined the Department of Applied Chemistry & Chemical Engineering of DU as a Lecturer in 1998. About 40 research papers have so far been published in reputed national and international journals.
He also served as Chief Editor of Dhaka University Journal of Applied Science and Engineering.
