Dr AHM Mujtaba Hossain, professor of the Islamic Studies Department of Dhaka University (DU), died of brain hemorrhage at his Badda residence in the city on Monday. He was 63.
A noted professional of Islamic Studies, Mujtaba Hossain left behind a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
His Namaj-e-Zanaja was held on Monday after Asr prayers at Hazaribagh park in the city. He was buried at the Azimpur graveyard.
