Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh: Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries of Bangladesh Agricultural University Mymensingh and Professor of Fisheries Technology. Md. Abul Mansur (Millat) has received ‘Amar Ekushey Smriti Sammanna-2022’ for his special contribution in education and social service.
The award was given on 23 February 2022 at the Begum Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the National Museum in Shahbag, Dhaka. The award was presented by the United Movement for Human Rights.Prominent personalities from different walks of life including wise judges of the Supreme Court, Additional Secretary, Supreme Court Advocate, university teachers, engineers, heroic freedom fighters were present on the occasion. Professor Mansoor has been teaching in the Department of Fisheries Technology, Bangladesh Agricultural University for the last 36 years. He has also been the head of the department for two terms and the provost of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Hall of Bangladesh Agricultural University.
He is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries.
