The Chancellor of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh and President of Bangladesh has appointed Prof Dr. H. M. JahirulHaque as the Vice Chancellor of ULAB.
Newly -appointed VC Prof Dr. H. M.JahirulHaque joined ULAB in 2004 as Professor and Head, Computer Science and Engineering. He is the fourth Vice Chancellor of ULAB. He is one of the very first full-time faculty members with whom ULAB started its journey towards excellence.He served asDirector, Academic Affairs; Dean of the School of Science and Engineering and Pro Vice Chancellor in the immediate past.
Prior to joining ULAB, he was Head of Computer Science & Engineering in Leading University, Sylhet. Dr. Jahir has a PhD from one of the best-known universities of Ukraine, where he also started his teaching career. He has a strong track record in academic administration.
He also has a reputation for being an innovative, efficient and visionary leader. Now his mission is to lead the ULAB to its next level.
