Speakers at the inaugural ceremony of a training course Monday stressed for producing adequately skilled human resources on information and communication technology (ICT) to accelerate development of the country.
Pirganj upazila administration with assistance of “Creative Idea” has been organising the three-month long training course on “Graphics Design and Freelancers Development” at Pirganj upazila parishad auditorium in Pirganj upazila town of the district.
Twenty participants, including 13 male and female entrepreneurs of the union information’s service centres (UISCs) and seven educated unemployed youths, from all over Pirganj upazila have been taking part in the training course.
ICT expert and Director of ‘Creative Idea’ Mehedi Hassan Shakil has been conducting different technical sessions in the training course being arranged for the first batch.
Pirganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer ATM Ziaul Islam formally launched the training course at the inaugurated ceremony as the chief guest.
Presided over by Assistant Commissioner (Land) SM Golam Kibria, Regional Director of Bangladesh Computer Education Mazharul Alam Milan and Director of ‘Creative Idea’ Mehedi Hassan Shakil attended the ceremony as special guests.
