Producer Nasir Uddin Dilu dies of Covid-19

Noted film producer Nasir Uddin Dilu passed away at a city hospital on Tuesday morning. Dilu, a former member of the Bangladesh Film Censor Board, breathed his last at United Hospital in the capital around 10:00am.
Khorshed Alam Khosru, President of Bangladesh Film Producers and Distributors Association, said the producer Dilu was admitted to hospital after sustaining head injuries few days back. Later, he tested positive for Covid-19. In addition, he was suffering from various old-age related complications and diseases. He died while undergoing treatment yesterday morning. Since he was contracted Covid-19, safety measures was taken during his namaz-e-janaza and burial.
Nasir Uddin Dilu produced over 15 films in his long career. He was served twice as president of Bangladesh Film Producers and Distributors Association.
