DMP Additional Commissioner Monirul Islam has said that they have found BUET Chhatra League leader Amit Saha’s involvement in Abrar Fahad murder in the primary investigation.
He made the statement in a press briefing on Abrar murder on Thursday afternoon.
Monirul said: “We have spoken to many people over the murder and in the primary investigation, we found that he might not have been present on the spot, but had some involvement. Details will be disclosed after further investigation.”
Abrar, a second year student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of the university, was beaten to death in the early hours of Monday, allegedly by the leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra League inside the university’s Sher-e-Bangla Hall.
