A Dhaka court fixed November 13 for submission of investigation report of a case filed over the murder of BUET student Abrar Fahad.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sadbir Yasir Ahasan Chowdhury fixed the date on Tuesday (October 8).
The same court placed ten leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) on a five-day remand.
The remanded BCL leaders are: general secretary Mehedi Hasan Russel, assistant general secretary Mostasim Fuad, organsing secretary Mehedi Hasan Rabin, information and research secretary Anik Sarkar and sports secretary Meftahul Islam Jiyon, Deputy-Social Service affairs secretary Ifti Mosharrof, BUET BCL members Muntasir Al Jemi, Md Muzahidur Rahman Mujahid, Khandaker Tabakkharul Islam Tanvir and Istiak Ahmed Munna.
Abrar Fahad, a second year student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of BUET was allegedly beaten to death at his dorm Sher-e-Bangla Hall early Monday (Oct 7).
The body of Fahad was found lying between the first and second floors of Sher Bangla Hall.
