A Dhaka court on Thursday fixed March 14 for submitting a probe report against Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) former Vice President Nurul Haque Nur and five others in a rape case.
Magistrate Nivana Khair Jessy fixed the new date as Kotwali Zonal Team Police Inspector (unarmed) Md Wahiduzzaman and the Investigation Officer of the case, could not submit their report on Thursday.
On September 21, last year, a Dhaka University student filed the case with the Kotwali Police Station
against six people including former VP Nur.
Other five accused in the case are: Hassan Al Mamun, Nazmul Hassan, Md Saiful Islam, Nazmul Huda and Abdullahel Baqi.
Earlier on September 20, the student filed another case with Lalbagh Police Station against the same accused in which Hassan Al Mamun was made the prime accused.
