Fake FF certificates: Probe report against 8 ACC officials submitted

An investigation team of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has submitted primary inquiry report about an allegation that eight officials of the ACC reportedly managed freedom fighter certificates through forgery.
Team leader Deputy Director Zulfikar Ali placed the report on Tuesday, accusing four officials out of eight.
Early January, the Commission directed the investigation team to submit the report within two weeks.
The team scrutinised all the documents collected from the accused and different sources, including Muktibarta, and prepared the report.
On October 22 last year, the ACC initiated an investigation against ACC Director General (DG) Kamrul Hasan Mollah, Directors Golam Yahiya and Abdul Aziz Bhuyian, Deputy Directors Dhali Abdus Samad and SM Golam Mawla Siddique, former Deputy Director Ranjan Kumar Majumder, Assistant Inspector Abdus Sobhan and Court Assistant Nurul Islam.
