International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 to set July 12 to quiz Habiganj war crimes accused Abul Khayer Golap by the investigation agency at its Dhanmondi safe home.
A two-member tribunal led by Justice Md Shahinur Islam passed the order, accepting a plea from the prosecution.
“The tribunal also fixed August 22 for submitting progress report in investigation in the case,” said prosecutor Rezia Sultana Chaman.
Golap, former chairman of Gojnaipur union, was arrested on April 11 in a case lodged by Sukur Bibi of village Atangiri under Nabiganj upazila in the district.
According to the investigation agency, Golap was the local organizer of anti-liberation forces in 1971 and carried out crimes against humanity in the locality.
