Digital forgery in CU entry test: Probe body formed, admission process stayed

After massive allegation raised regarding the admission test of Chittagong University ‘C-3’ , the administration has postponed the admission process till further decision.
 Side by side, the authority also formed a two member high profiled body to scrutiny into the matter and asked them to submit the findings within the next seven days.
CU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury confirmed it to the journalists , saying a two- member body has been comprising ofProfof Anthropology department, Farid Uddin Ahmed and Assistant Proctor Helal Uddin.
He also said, the authority concerned to the admission process was asked not initiate the admission process for the C-3 unit aspirants until submission of the probe findings.
Scrutiny into the result, it was found that over 15 students got the abnormal marks in the admission test where the highest marks was 118.99 out of 120. This is the ever highest marks in the history of Countries admission test of public universities.
Earlier, the question papers of the C-3 unit admission test, containing the full answers tactically raised huge allegation. Massive allegation comes from several students’ wings, including progressive wings, general students, teachers and others from several profession. They all demanded the annulment of the examination result and also demanded the immediate punishment of the culprits, involved in the forgery.
