A probe body, formed to investigate the deadly fire incident at MV Abhijan-10 launch, has found some problems in the engine.
The seven-member investigation team constituted by the Shipping Ministry visited the scene and primarily found some engine problems.
“We have found some defects in the engine and are now matching information with other committee members,” Md Tofayel Islam, Joint Convener of the investigation team said while talking to journalists.On the other hand, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) sources said that the launch was supposed to have two first class masters, but it had two second class masters on board.
