Prize giving ceremony of IT QUIZ contest

The prize giving ceremony of online quiz contest winners was held at DIU auditorium recently. Shayam Sunder Sikder, Secretary, ICT Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunication and information Ministry was present as chief guest while Prof Dr M Golam Rahman, Acting Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University and Hideo Hoya, IT advisor of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) were present as special guests.
Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Executive Director of Daffodil Institute of IT chaired the program. Toru Okazaki, Managing Director of Daffodil Japan IT (DJIT) and Rathindra Nath Das, DJIT spoke on the occasion.
Among the 1700 contestants award and certificates are given to 300 selected contestants.
The selected contestants will get the opportunity to get professional training to make them capable and learning Japanese language.
DJIT is a Japan and Daffodil joint venture renowned institute. Here training has been given to make people capable to work on the developed countries.
The chief gust speaks towards the winner that the population of Bangladesh is not a problem, it’s a wealth. He mentioned various project about ICT.
