Daffodil Institute of IT (DIIT) under National University Bangladesh arranged ‘Laptop and Prize giving Ceremony among the students’ at Ekattor Hall of Daffodil tower recently. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of Daffodil Family presided over the program. As chief guest, Prof D Harun -or- Rashid, Vice Chancellor, National University Bangladesh said that DIIT is one of the best Institutions under National University. He also said, students of DIIT know how to learn and the application of learning.
The special guest Prof Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka, Chairman, Shadharon Bima Corporation and chairman, Governing Body of DIIT focuses on the importance of learning IT. He said, Information technology is shaping our destination in every moment.
The president of the program delivers a short history of foundation and chronological development of DIIT and Daffodil Family. Besides, the guest of honor, Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO, Daffodil Family expressed his pride being a founder member of DIIT. Mohammed Shakhawat Hossain, the principal of DIIT presents a brief success history of DIIT before the guests and the audiences. The program is ended with the distribution of laptop and prize among the students.
