After the Alipore Judges Court put a stay order on Andarkahini due to a tussle between director Arnab Midya and producer Tarun Rana, uncertainty looms large over the future of the film. But Priyanka Sarkar, who plays the lead role, is having mixed feelings.
On the one hand she is very disappointed with the delay in its release and on the other hand, she is quite hopeful too.
Priyanka, who is playing three more characters in the film, said, “It feels really bad when you act in a film and it doesn’t release on time. Andarkahini has gone to around 50 film festivals and done so well. I have received many awards too. But nothing feels complete till the time our film releases. What’s the point of acting in the film if people cannot see my work?” she added.
