Her name is Priyanka. She loves songs of late Shahnaz Rahmatullah. For this reason, Shahnaz Rahmatullah-rendered a song titled Jebhabey Banchi Bencheto Achhi makes her emotional most of the time. Priyanka Biswas one of the promising singers of present time who won the hearts of many music-lovers within very short time by virtue of her melodious voice and rendering style.
Priyanka was top 10 contestants in Close Up 1-Tomakey Khunjchhey Bangladesh in 2012. Her father Pankaj Biswas was her first trainer in music. Later she received training from Dr Ashit Roy of Rajshahi University. Now she is receiving training from Ashit Roy of Chhayanaut. She believes that there is no alternative for rewaj (practicing music) regularly. She always tries to do it regularly despite having any engagement with others. She has concentrated to her own original songs. Till now she has composed three songs. After completing music arrangement of these songs she will release these on YouTube channel, Priyanka said.
Priyanka’s first original song was broadcasted on Khulna Betar. Her two composed songs are: Somoy Shudhu Boye Choley and Okaron Jwalaton. But in reality show, her first original track was O Rongeo Karigor. From Laser Vision her duet song with Kazi Shuvo titled Chai Je Chokh Kotha Bolte was released in 2017. Later last year another duet with Apu Aman titled Jabona Chhere was released under the banner of Dhrubo Music Station. She came into limelight to render Aroti Mukherjee’s popular song titled Nodir Jemon Jhorna Achhey, which was re-arranged by Partho Barua for Ceylon Music. Her melodious presentation impressed all. However, she has already rendered a song titled Ekta Kothar Kotha Dey. In her career, she has own original patriotic song titled Ei To Aamar Desh, Pran-er Bangladesh.
“I want to do music only. Music is my love, passion and devotion. I want to render song before my death,” Priyanka also said.
