A prisoner in Sunamganj jail died on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Khalil Mia, son of Shahid Mia.
Sunamganj Jail authorities said Khalil was rushed to Sadar Hospital after he felt chest pain in the afternoon.
After being taken to the hospital doctor declared him dead.
The body has been sent to a morgue for autopsy, said Jail Superintendent Nurshed Ahmed.
Khalil was accused in an under trial robbery case, he said.
