A prisoner died of ‘cardiac arrest’ at Kishoreganj District Jail on Sunday morning.
The victim deceased Jumon Miah (30) son of Mofijul Islam a resident of Monipurghat (Batrish) in Kishoreganj town
Jail Super(JS) in Kishoreganj district Md.Bazlur Rashid told the New Nation that Jumon Miah
came to the jail on in a drug case.
He fell sick due to chest pain on Sunday morning and sent to Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital. He died there about 10 am while undergoing treatment.
After an autopsy, the body will be handed over to victim ‘s family .
An unnatural death (UD) case was filed with Kishoreganj Sadar Model Police Station in this connection, Jail Super (JS) added.”
