A prisoner died of ‘cardiac arrest’ at Kishoreganj district jail on Friday morning.
The victim deceased Abu Sayeed (25) son of Zahir Uddin a resident of Narupara village in v Ghoraghat upazila iof Dinajpur .
District Jail Super in Kishoreganj Md.Bazlur Rashid told the New Nation that Abu Sayeed came to the jail on June 30 in a drug case.
He fell sick due to chest pain on Friday morning and sent to Kishoreganj 250-bed General Hospital. He died there about 9:45am while undergoing treatment.
After an autopsy, the body will be handed over to victim ‘s family .
An unnatural death (UD) case was filed with Kishoreganj Sadar Model Police Station in this connection, Jail Super (JS) added.
