A prisoner serving imprisonment in a drug case at Chittagong Central Jail (CCJ) died yesterday .The deceased Abdur Rahim alias Ledu hailed from East RaozanUpazila of the district.
Ledu was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Sunday evening after his condition deteriorated and he died there this noon while undergoing treatment, said Monir Hossain, Deputy Jailer of CCJ.
