Prime Bank Cricket Club moved to the top slot in the points table of the Walton Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League beating Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club by eight wickets in their seventh round match held on Sunday at the BKSP ground in Savar.
Put to bat first, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club scored a decent total of 205 for all from their allotted 50 overs.
In reply, Prime Bank easily reached home in 47.5 overs for the loss of two wickets.
Taskin Ahmed of Prime Bank was named the player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance on the day.
This win took Prime Bank to a top of the points table with 12 points from seven matches while Sheikh Jamal remained at their previous credit of six points playing the same number of matches.
