A Chittagong court granted bail to the prime accused in a case filed for “beating” a woman over a land dispute on Monday .
Police arrested Syed Abu Siddique on Sunday after victim Farzana Kulsuma, 30, filed the case with Double Mooring Police Station on Thursday.
Farzana, 30, wife of an expatriate, was allegedly beaten by her neighbour Abu and his wife in Agrabad CDA Residential Area in the city on Thursday over a land dispute.
Farzana was given treatment in Chittagong Medical College Hospital, said Sub-Inspector of CMCH Police Camp Jahirul Islam.
