The government has entrusted Primary and Mass-Education Ministry with the task of conducting the Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations which were so far being overseen by the Education Ministry.
“The PSC and JSC exams will be held under our ministry from now on,” Primary and Mass-Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman on Saturday told a function in the city.
He, however, said like in the past, the education boards, however, would provide all logistic supports in conducting the two public exams.
Director General of Primary Education Directorate Mohammad Alamgir presided over the workshop on primary education at Mirpur Multi-Purpose Auditorium of the Primary Education Department.
Secretary of Primary and Mass-Education Ministry Humayun Khaled, additional secretary Nazrul Islam Khan and DG of Compulsory Primary Education Implementation Monitoring Unit (CPEIMU) Ziauddin Ahmed, among others, took part in the discussion.
