President M Abdul Hamid will deliver a commemorative speech at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) today marking the Golden Jubilee of the country’s Independence as sitting of the House is going to resume at 3pm today giving a five-day pause.
Later, a special discussion will be held at the House on the Golden Jubilee of the country’s Independence with JS Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
Members of the Parliament will take part in the special discussion.
Earlier, the Speaker adjourned the 15th session of the 11th Jatiya Sangsad on November 18, which was started on November 14.
