President M Abdul Hamid will return home today after an 11-day visit to London and Germany for health checkup and treatment of eyes.
“A VVIP flight (BG 202) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited carrying the President and his entourage members will land at Hazrat Shahjalal ® International Airport at 10:15 am today,” President’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad told BSS on Saturday.
The head of the state went to London on May 15 on an 11-day medical trip where he had health checkup at Bupa Cromwell Hospital and treatment of eyes at Moorfields Eye Hospital. Besides, he had another medical check-up at Frankfurt in Germany.
The Deputy Press Secretary said the President will leave Heathrow Airport for Dhaka at 1820 hrs (London Local time).
