President returns home after treatment

President M Abdul Hamid returned home on Monday morning after a 10-day visit to London for health checkup and treatment of eyes.
A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President and his entourage members landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:40 am, President’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad told BSS. Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, acting dean of diplomatic corps and Turkish envoy in Dhaka Devrim Ozturk, British high commissioner to Bangladesh Robert Chattertson Dickson, Chiefs of the three services, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Public Security Division Secretary, Secretary (coordination and reform) of the Cabinet Division, Secretary (Maritime in Foreign Ministry), and civil and military high officials concerned received the President at the airport.
Earlier, the head of the state left Heathrow Airport of London for Dhaka at 6:40 pm (London time) on Sunday.
Bangladesh High Commissioner to the United Kingdom (UK) Saida Muna Tasneem and senior officials of Bangladesh Mission in London saw the President off at the airport.
