President M Abdul Hamid returned home on Thursday after medical checkup in the United Kingdom and Frankfurt in Germany.
“A VVIP flight of Emirate Airlines carrying President Abdul Hamid landed at Hazrat Shahjalal (R) International Airport at about 4:48 o’clock on Thursday afternoon,” President’s Deputy Press Secretary Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad told BSS.
He added: “On his arrival at the airport, the President was received by Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Civil Aviation Minister Rashed Khan Menon, dean of the diplomatic corps in Bangladesh, cabinet secretary, chiefs of the three services, and high civil and military officials.”
President Abdul Hamid left Dhaka for medical checkup on April 23, 2017.
