In a condolence message, Khaleda asked, “The government to meet out exemplary punishment to those actually responsible for the accident after identifying them through a fair investigation into it.”  British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Robert W Gibson expressed condolences over Padma launch tragedy.”I was shocked and saddened by the tragic incident on the Padma, in which so many people have lost their lives,” he said.Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Shiro Sadoshima expressed Tuesday profound sorrow for the victims of the launch capsize in the Padma River.”On behalf of the government of Japan and the people of Japan, I would like to express my deepest condolence to the victims and the bereaved families,” he said in a condolence message.
