UNB, Dhaka :President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday joined the iftar party hosted by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha on the Supreme Court premises.Both the President and the Prime Minister went round different tables set for the guests, and exchanged pleasantries with them.Before the iftar, a special munajat was offered seeking divine blessings for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the nation.Khatib of the Supreme Court Jam-e-Masjid Abu Saleh Md Salimullah conducted the munajat.Cabinet members, former Chief Justices, Chief Election Commissioner, judges of the Supreme Court, chiefs of the three services, attorney general, senior lawyers, high officials of both the offices of the President and Prime Minister, among others, joined the iftar party.Earlier, on his arrival at the iftar venue, the President was received by the Prime Minister, the Chief Justice and Law Minister Anisul Huq.
