President, PM greet Tigers

President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday congratulated all the players and officials of Bangladesh cricket team for their victory against Sri Lanka in the 100th Test match.
In a message, the President said Bangladesh’s victory in its 100th Test match is a milestone in its cricket history.
He said Bangladesh cricket and its followers will get encouraged following this victory and it will cast a positive impact on the country’s future cricket.
The President hoped that Bangladesh cricket team will be able to continue its trend of victory in the future.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina talked to Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahman and man of the series Sakib Al Hasan over telephone. “You’ve made a history. I’m congratulating you from the core of my heart,” PM’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim quoted Hasina as saying.
The Prime Minister finished her phone conversation saying ‘Joy Bangla’, Karim said. Touring Bangladesh beat host Sri Lanka by four wickets in the second test leveling the series. This match was the 100th number Test match for Bangladesh. Bangladesh is the fourth country that sealed win in their 100th Test match. The other three countries are Australia, West Indies and Pakistan.
