President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have expressed deep shock at the untimely demise of Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang saying it is an irrevocable loss for the people and the Communist Party of Vietnam.
“On behalf of the people and the Government of Bangladesh and my own behalf, I convey deepest sympathy and condolences to the people and the Government of Vietnam and to the mourning family members of the deceased President,” President Hamid said in a message to Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, acting State President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The President said he is extremely saddened to learn about the untimely demise of the Politburo member of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the State President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Prime Minister Hasina in her message to Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said she is profusely saddened to learn about the premature demise of the State President of Vietnam.
