President Abdul Hamid offered ziarat at the Rauza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (peace be upon him) at Madina on Tuesday night.
His family and other members of the entourage were with the President at that time, according to a Bangabhaban press release.
The President and his entourage also offered nafal prayers at Masjid Nababi and Riajul Jannat. He also recited from the holy Quran at Riajul Jannat.
Abdul Hamid prayed for continued peace and prosperity of the nation as well as the country.
The President is expected to return home from Saudi Arabia on October 10.
