President M Abdul Hamid on Friday offered fateha at the graves of his parents after saying Jumma prayers at the mosque adjacent to his ancestral home at Kamalpur village here.
After the Jumma prayers, the president offered fateha at the graves of his father Md Tayebuddin, mother Tomiza Khatun and his some other relatives.
State minister for labour and employment Md Mujibul Haque Chunnu, Justice Amir Hossain of High Court Division, Rezwan Ahmed Taufiq, MP, secretaries concerned to Bangabhaban and senior officials of local administration accompanied the President.
With offering doa at his parents’ graveyard, the head of the state concluded his five-day visit to Kishoreganj.
Earlier he arrived at Austagram of Kishoreganj on September 24 on a five-day visit.

He attended three separate gatherings at Austagram, Itna and Mithamin upazilas of the district during his visit.
He also witnessed different development projects including the under-construction highway connecting to three upazilas of the district.
President Hamid held a series of views-exchange-meetings with local elites, elected representatives and representatives of local administration here as well.
This was the second visit of Hamid to his village home in the remote area of Kishoreganj after taking oath of office as the country’s President for the second consecutive term on April 24 last.
