President M Abdul Hamid on Friday expressed profound shock at the death of SM Mostafa Rashidi Suja, a parliament member from Khulna-4 constituency.
In a condolence message, the President conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for salvation of the departed soul. “The countrymen, particularly the people of Khulna, have lost a pro-people leader…he (Suja) had immense contribution to local development and flourishing democracy in the country,” he said. Abdul Hamid added: “His sad demise is really irreparable loss to the country’s political arena”.
