President M Abdul Hamid on Thursday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Advocate Monoj Kumar Goswami, a member of Kishoreganj Bar Association, who breathed his last on Thursday noon. Monoj Goswami, who worked as a junior of Advocate Abdul Hamid during his law profession in his home town for about one era since 1984, died of brain stroke at Kishoreganj General Hospital on Thursday at the age of 67. In a condolence message, the President expressed deep shock and sorrow as well as prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
“The inhabitants of Kishoreganj lost an honest and efficient lawyer at the death of Monoj . . . He performed his duty as junior lawyer with utmost sincerity and reputation,” the head of the state mentioned.
