President Abdul Hamid on Monday expressed deep shock over the death of Mezbah Uddin Ahmed, former president of Bajitpur upazila Awami league .
In a condolence message, the President said Mezbah Uddin played a special role in organizing the people of his area during the Liberation The country lost a prominent social worker and organizer at his death.
The President prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
Mezbah Uddin Ahmed died at Bajitpur Zahurul Islam Medical College Hospital Sunday night at the age of 88.
