President Abdul Hamid on Saturday met cross section of people at Zila Circuit House here.
Officials of the district administration, local business leaders, members of local bar, leaders of women chamber and leaders of different communities were present at the meeting attended by the President on the last leg of his five-day visit to different upazilas of the district.
During the meet, the President said he has been here to seek doa as he is going to perform hajj this year.
He recalled his long association with the people of the district.
Reciprocating the feelings of the President, the participants prayed for him and wished his safe return from the holy hajj.
