President Abdul Hamid on Thursday made a surprise visit to journalist lounge in the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban after watching the Finance Minister presenting the budget for some time from the President’s gallery in the parliament. The President exchanged pleasantries with the journalists who were covering the budget session.The journalists at the lounge were elated to see the President, who was earlier speaker of the Parliament.He enquired about their well-being and assured them of his all cooperation for the welfare of the journalist community. Earlier, President Abdul Hamid authenticated the proposed national budget for the fiscal 2014-15 and the revised budget of 2013-14 before they were placed in the Jatiya Sangsad by Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith.
