President Hamid asks voters not to elect self-seeking candidates

President Md. Abdul Hamid on Wednesday called upon the voters not to elect the candidates who give priority to their own interest and deceive people.
President Hamid was addressing a mass reception accorded to him at Mitamoin Muktijouddha Abdul Haque Govenrnment College play ground with upazila Chairman Advocate Abdus Shaheed Bhuiyan in the chair.
Referring to upcoming general election Hamid called upon the voters to choose the party which ensures people welfare when it goes to state power.
He reiterated his request to all political parties of the country to nominate good candidates in all stages of polls including Jaitya Sangsad and Local Government election.
He also asked countrymen to aspire for the welfare of the country and its people.
Each of you has to put relentless effort to materialize the dream of future development.
I am son of a farmer. I never forgot my childhood memoris. A man connot be a real on if the forgets his road, President Hamid also said.
It was addressed among others by Local M.P Rejowan Ahamed Tofique, Zila Parished Chairman Advocate Zillur Rahman, District Awami League Secretary Advocate M.A Afzol, Principal Abdul Haque and Chairman Sharif Kamal.
Later, President opened various development projects.
