President Abdul Hamid on Friday congratulated Tulip Siddiq, granddaughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Rupa Huq and Rushanara Ali on their winning in the British parliament elections.
“The President said their victory in the British parliament elections has brightened the image of British-Bangladeshis,” President’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim told BSS by phone.
Abdul Hamid wished their success in discharging responsibilities as Member of Parliament in Britain.
